In 1986 I was a musician who got hooked on computers. I never looked back. Forty years later, I’m the former CIO & CDIO of MSC, and I chaired the DCSA Supervisory Board from day one until March 2026.
I’ve watched our industry go from telex to IoT and blockchain. Along the way I’ve helped build the standards, with DCSA and INTTRA, that let competitors agree on the foundations and then compete on top.
Here’s what I’ve learned. The technology is the easy part. Getting people to work together is the hard part. And digital collaboration is no longer optional; it’s the next step for global trade.
Today I work with investors on due diligence, advise incubators and their portfolio companies, and spar with founders who are scaling disruptive supply chain tech.
